Overview
The course includes a thorough introduction to visual merchandising, elements and principles of space design, and the types of retail environments. Students will study trends analysis and forecasting, display techniques, signage, prop tools, and materials.
The curriculum also covers design methodology, branding, brand management, consumer behavior, services in visual merchandising, lighting, renovation projects including budgeting, and designing branded garment showrooms.
Career Opportunities
Graduates can pursue careers as visual merchandisers, retail display designers, brand managers, showroom designers, and retail consultants.
